David Hamilton, York County Clerk of Court, received the South Carolina Association of Clerks of Court and Registers of Deeds Clerk of Court of the Year award at their spring conference. Mr. Hamilton was honored for his hard work within the Association and “countless hours attending various state level committees,” as stated by former Association President and Lancaster County Clerk of Court, Jeff Hammond.
Mr. Hamilton is considered the “go to” for fellow Clerks of Court and Registers of Deeds within the State of South Carolina, and he implements dedication and outstanding leadership within the Association.
Mr. Hamilton was elected as the York County Clerk of Court in 1997. He continues to serve York County; as well as, the State of South Carolina as a leader within the judicial community. He takes pride in representing the citizens of York County.
