FEMA has updated the Elevation Certificate and Dry Proofing Certificate effective July 7, 2023. These forms are to be used through June 30, 2026 and may be obtained by going to FEMA’s National Flood Insurance Program Underwriting Forms website at https://www.fema.gov/flood-insurance/find-form/underwriting. Also included with the July 7, 2023 announcement from FEMA’s Flood Insurance Directorate is an attachment providing updated underwriting guidance on how to use the revised Elevation Certificate form for first floor height. These revised forms are to used going forward.
