Duke Energy has announced:
Allison Creek Access area on Lake Wylie to close temporarily for construction of park upgrades
• Access Area to be closed August 2021-November 2022
Duke Energy will temporarily close the Allison Creek Access Area on Lake Wylie in order to construct the following upgrades: RV camping, tent camping, picnic facilities, ranger station, canoe/kayak launch and trails. 
During the closure, visitors can use Ebenezer Park, Nivens Creek Access Area, Fort Mill Access Area, Copperhead Access Area, Buster Boyd Access Area, South Point Access Area, and the Allen Fishing Access Area. 
Updates will be posted and available under “water access alerts” for Lake Wylie at duke-energy.com/community/lakes, on the Duke Energy Lake View app, or by calling 800.443.5193.
