York County has postponed the public input meeting scheduled for May 18, 2021, to reveal design options for York County's Riverbend Park. Currently, a future date has not been chosen for the public Input meeting.
York County Council made a tremendous investment in Dec. 2018, by purchasing a 1900 acre parcel that borders the Catawba River for almost five miles. Riverbend Park, features primary forests, seasonal wetlands, ponds, enormous pines, and expansive meadows.
The public will be invited and encouraged to attend future public input meetings regarding Riverbend Park. For additional information regarding Riverbend Park, please contact the York County Managers Office at (803) 684-8511.
