York County has lifted its TIA COVID-19 policy for conducting traffic counts, which was drafted in response to the change in traffic patterns related to the pandemic. SCDOT has been monitoring continuous count stations to track average traffic volume percentages. With the return of in-person school and many return to work operations, the weekly average traffic volume percentages are now surpassing those from 2019. Therefore, the County will return to the traffic counting policy as stated in the Traffic Impact Analysis Guidelines Methodology.
