The York County Animal Shelter is continuing to work on a modified services schedule due to multiple staff exposures of COVID-19. The shelter will accept intake of stray animals Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 10 AM to 2 PM (excluding holidays). Appointments for trap-neuter-release (TNR), nuisance cat trappings, and owner surrenders will be temporarily suspended until further notice.
The animal shelter is adhering to CDC quarantine guidelines and receiving a thorough cleaning. Staff will continue maintenance and care of the animals. Animal Control Officers will respond to emergency only.
For any questions and/or to reach Animal control, please call (803) 628-3190. Feel free to leave a message to schedule an appointment for future services. Responses may be delayed due to limited staffing.
