Effective immediately, the York County Animal Shelter will work on a modified services schedule due to multiple staff exposures of COVID-19. The shelter will accept intake of stray animals Monday-Friday 10 AM to 2 PM. Appointments for trap-neuter-release (TNR), nuisance cat trappings, and owner surrenders will be temporarily suspended until further notice.
The animal shelter is adhering to CDC quarantine guidelines and receiving a thorough cleaning. Staff will continue maintenance and care of the animals. Animal Control Officers will remain operational and will respond to calls based on priority.
