York County Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Department has created an online Parks and Recreation Locator. The specific design of this web application is to assist residents and visitors in locating recreational opportunities for children throughout York County.
“This map is a great place to start if you are looking for recreational opportunities for children,” said Trish Startup, Public Information Officer. “It’s easy to use and mobile friendly.”

How do I use the Locator and what type of information is available?
Viewers can “tap” or “click” on a specific location icon on the map or insert a location name or address in the search bar to focus on a specific area. Each park and recreation listing includes the following:

Days of operation
Hours of operation
Age range
Street view
Website for the specific location
