A-Tax funding can be used to financially assist projects with tourism related expenditures in accordance with South Carolina Law. Programs that have received A-Tax funding in the past were for projects and events to enhance the image of York County in order to increase tourism to the area.
The funding for the York County Accommodations Tax Program comes from State collections of accommodations tax from hotels in the County.
