York County Saves Taxpayers Money
York County has saved taxpayers money by generating substantial revenue through the County’s purchasing card program (P-Card). York County has earned an additional $123,052.25 of revenue for 2018 from the rebates generated by P-Card purchases. The County has experienced a 27% growth from implementation of the program in 2017. York County’s revenue share for 2017 was $96,678.42.
“York County’s P-Card program allows the County the opportunity to capture additional rebate revenue, and reduce the tax burden of our taxpayers,” said York County Manager Bill Shanahan.
The implementation of the WellsOne Commercial Card Program, offered through Wells Fargo Bank, has delivered significant savings for York County; as well as, made the County more efficient. For additional information regarding York County, please visit www.yorkcountygov.com.
