Update September 16, 2018, 11:30AM
Several conference calls with state and local agencies were held this morning to discuss Tropical Storm Florence weather and response.
This afternoon and into the night, winds will be 10 mph sustained with 18 mph gust. York County can expect saturated ground, localized flooding, trees down, and power outages.
York County will experience rain through today on into Tuesday morning. The projected rain total for the County through Tuesday is 3 inches with occasional heavy down pours. Flash flooding is a concern; especially in the lower lying areas. With the saturated ground and heavy foliage, there’s the potential for trees to fall down.
