Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening focused across eastern portions of the Upstate of South Carolina into the I-77 corridor of North Carolina. While damaging winds possibly due to microbursts are the main threat, stronger thunderstorms may also be capable of producing small hail and brief heavy downpours. Breezy conditions are expected outside of thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening with gusts between 25 and 35 mph likely.
