A Flash Flood Watch is in effect beginning Thursday morning at 8am
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 8am Thursday morning thru 8am Friday morning for York County. Widespread heavy rain showers and a few thunderstorms are expected. Storm total rainfall of 4 to 6 inches is expected over a 24 to 30 hour period. This amount of rain will produce areas of flash flooding along smaller streams, creeks, and in urban areas. Rain bands producing torrential rainfall rates may result in localized amounts as high as 9 inches and significant flash flooding. Be weather alert and ready!
