Swimming
The swimming area is open year-round for swim at your own risk. There will be NO lifeguards on duty. The swimming area is enclosed by the circular pier. Water shoes and life jackets are recommended. No swimming is permitted outside of the designated swim area.
Pets in the Water Policy:
Memorial Day – Labor Day:
Pets are never allowed in the swimming area. However, pets may enter the water outside of the swimming area Monday – Thursday around the boat ramps, when the area is less congested with boat traffic. The area can be east of the boat ramps but not to extend beyond shelter 2. Friday-Sunday pets can enter the water in the cove to the left of the boat ramps (where it is more secluded and less congested with guests). Pet owners are prohibited to enter the water with their pets from park property.
During the off-season:
Pets can swim at any location in the park with the exception of where there is high volume boat traffic at the boat ramps. Pet owners are prohibited to enter the water with their pets from park property.
