The Public Information Office executes internal and external communication strategies to effectively engage and inform Council, staff and residents about York County services, project implementation and policy formulation through accessible information and public engagement.

Greg Suskin-Public Information Officer
Greg Suskin spent 21 years covering news in our area for WSOC-TV Channel 9. Earlier he worked at three other TV news stations, both here in South Carolina and in Alabama.
In September of 2021 Greg left the news world to become the public information officer for York County Government. He's using his story-telling skills to tell the story of York County, its achievements, and its people. Greg is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in journalism. Josh Stender-Multimedia Specialist
Josh Stender grew up in a small town in West Virginia. He worked in television news for more than 15 years: First as a news photographer at WSAZ-TV in Huntington, West Virginia, then at WSOC-TV in Charlotte. Josh has years of experience covering major news stories and events and doing special projects. As multimedia specialist, Josh says he's happy to be part of an amazing team and tell the story of York County. Josh lives in Rock Hill with his wife and two young children.
