Animal Services
The Animal Control division serves the public by responding to and investigating animal complaints regarding stray or unwanted dogs and cats in York County.

Assessor
Identify, map, classify, appraise and assess residential, commercial, agricultural and vacant property in York County for ad valorem taxation within the guidelines of the South Carolina Code of Laws, South Carolina Department of Revenue regulations and York County Ordinances.

Auditor
The Auditor's Office is responsible for listing and assessing personal property for ad valorem taxation.

Clerk of Court
The Clerk of Court serves both the Circuit Court and the Family Court and is responsible for docket management, receipt of fees, fines and costs, maintenance of all court records and submission of reports to a variety of state and federal agencies.

Coroner
The main task of the Coroner's Office is to determine both the medical and legal causes for deaths in York County with priority focused on sudden, suspicious as well as deaths that occur for no apparent reason.

The Office of the York County Attorney delivers and coordinates legal services for the County with its experienced attorneys and highly-trained, skilled, support staff.
