Volunteering Overview

Do you have some extra time during your week that you would like to fill with an activity? York County Animal Control could use your help. The new shelter located off Highway 5 near the Moss Justice Center needs some volunteers to assist the full time staff. Your spare time could provide much needed assistance to the staff and animal residents of the shelter. 
Volunteer Opportunities are available in the following areas:
  • Bathing and grooming animals
  • Exercising and Socializing animals
  • Greeter and adoptions
  • Animal Pictures
  • Social Media
  • Information
  • Various other jobs that will help the shelter staff

Become a Volunteer
If you are interested in helping, complete a 
Volunteer Application Form. 

You must be at least 18 years of age to volunteer.
