Notary Public Information

Please visit the South Carolina Secretary of State website for all information pertaining to applying for Notary Public certification.

Once you have received your Notary Certificate, you have 15 days to hand-carry the commission certificate to our Common Pleas Office. You will need to provide photo identification and pay a $10 fee. The Clerk’s Office will stamp the back of the commission certificate with the book and page number of the record book in which the commission certificate is recorded.
