BOAT RAMPS:
Allison Creek has historically been a popular access point for York County boaters. There are 4 boat ramps at Allison Creek. The boat ramps are open from daylight to dark 365 days/year.
For information on current lake levels and area ramp closures, please visit the Duke Energy website.
Night access cards are available to purchase in the park office for boaters interested in using the boat ramps after the park closes to the general public. Night access cards can ONLY be used for launching a boat after hours (not for riding through the park after-hours, fishing off the dock, etc.) Click here for additional information on after hours boating.
The park does not provide boat rentals, kayaks, or canoes.
FISHING:
If you are age 16 or older, you will need a valid South Carolina fishing license to fish in the SC waters of Lake Wylie. SC fishing licenses can be purchased in the Allison Creek Park office, area convenience stores, sporting goods stores, and bait and tackle shops. A valid photo ID is required.
Bank fishing is restricted on or within 50 ft of the boat ramps.
