Register to vote to be eligible for the PPPs:
Voters who turn 18-years-old on or before November 8, 2016, may also
register to vote in 2016 PPPs, June Primaries, and November General

Voters may only vote in one
primary and cannot vote in both.
Absentee voting in person is available Monday
through Friday during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m. at our office in
Additional hours for absentee voting will be offered
for both Presidential Preference Primaries on Saturday,
February 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at out office.
In-person Absentee for the Republican Primary ends
Friday, February 19th at 5:00 p.m.
In-person Absentee for the Democratic Primary ends
Friday, February 26th at 5:00 p.m.

2016 PPP Democratic Sample Ballot
for Presidential Preference Primaries in S.C.
in Presidential Preference Primaries are reported by U.S. Congressional
District. All of York County is in U.S. Congressional District 5. The office
title on Presidential Preference Primary ballots for York County will read
"President District 5". In addition to the congressional
district reporting, the election results will also be reported by precinct.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC TEST
of the Board of Voter Registration and Elections of York County will conduct
a public test of the optical scan voting equipment for the upcoming Presidential
Preference Primaries. This test will be conducted on Monday, February 15,
2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Board of Voter Registration and Elections Office
of York County located at the E. C. Black Building, 13 S. Congress St. in
York. This test is open to the public.
2016 Candidate Filing
Any candidate seeking to file as a candidate for partisan or nonpartisan offices for the 2016 June Primaries and General Election must file with the Board of Voter Registration and Elections
Office for York County.
