Photo ID is Required for Voting

Beginning 2013, voters will be required to have a photo ID in order to vote in person for all upcoming elections.

Voters will now need to show one of the five forms of Photo IDs list below in order to vote in-person:

  • S.C. Driver's License
  • ID Card issued by S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles
  • S.C. Voter Registration Card with Photo
  • Federal Military ID
  • U.S. Passport
