The Development Coordinating Center is responsible for processing and tracking your plans and keeping you informed of the review process.

In order to start the review process for commercial building plans (including new construction, additions, and up-fits), please submit a Commercial Building Permit Applicaiton and three (3) sets of plans to:

It is very important that the permit application be filled out correctly. If you need to verify an address, call our Zoning Department at 803-909-7230, and select the Addressing Department from the menu.

Plan review takes approximately 2 weeks. When the review is complete, a notice will be sent to the contact person. If revisions are requested, a list of the applicable review comments will be included, along with instructions for re-submittal.
