Requirements for Sign Permit

Contact the Zoning Department at 1-800-922-7271 for detail information. 

  • The address of the building/structure of which the sign is to be erected, and the property tax map reference number for the lot onto which the sign is to be located; 
  • Name(s), address(es), and telephone number(s) of the applicant/owner of the property where the sign is to be erected or affixed, the owner of the sign, and the licensed contractor erecting or affixing the sign; cost of sign 
  • A site plan and survey of the property showing accurate placement of the proposed sign; 
  • Two scaled drawings of the plans and specifications of the sign to be erected or affixed as deemed necessary by the zoning administrator. The plans will include, but will not be limited to, details of dimensions, materials, and size of the proposed sign. For wall signs, dimensions of the building wall on which the sign is to be affixed and the location and size of the existing wall signs will also be included; and 
  • Other information as the zoning administrator may require determining full compliance with this and other applicable codes.
