Dear York County Citizen,
We invite you to participate in York County’s Great American Cleanup from March 1-May 31. This program is for all residents, schools, churches and businesses in York County. During March, local municipalities will work with volunteers to organize cleanups all over York County, and we want you to be a part of it!
Get a group together and participate! It’s fun and also helps your community. If you can’t participate, please share this information with other groups who might be interested.
All participants will receive trash bags and work gloves to help in your cleanups. Safety vests will be available for groups to borrow for their cleanup. Materials are on a first come/first serve basis. We also have a limited numbers of Great American Cleanup banners or posters you can put up at your event to publicize your cleanup. All materials will be available for pick up on Saturday, March 5 during our Household Hazardous Material Collection Event and Conservation Kit Distribution Event. If you need your supplies before then, feel free to contact our office to arrange a time for a pick up. Throughout the month of March, cleanup/beautification materials are available at York County Public Works, City of Rock Hill Operation Center, Clover Town Hall, Fort Mill Town Hall, Tega Cay Administration Office and City of York Recreation Department.
If your group would like to participate, sign up below. If you have questions, please call our office at 803-628-3181. Thanks for caring about York County. Together we can keep our community clean!
