The likely problem is that there is a pop-up blocker active. Most people are familiar with the Google or Yahoo pop-up blockers, but Windows XP operating system, a downloaded program called Web Search, and Norton security system all have their own pop-up blockers. I(~)m sure there are others as well. I recently spoke with a citizen that had three pop-up blockers active on their system. All three had to be deactivated, or set to pass specific websites. It(~)s best to have only one active, or at least an awareness of the pop-up blockers you have on your computer and the ones that are in play. You can usually allow pop-ups for specific websites by holding down the "Ctrl" key while accessing the website.
