Houston O. “Buddy” Motz, a Republican, is serving his sixth term on County Council and is the current Chairman of the York County Council, representing District 6. Mr. Motz teaches Sunday School and serves as chairman of the Finance Committee for St. John’s United Methodist Church of Rock Hill. He and his wife Mary Ann live in Rock Hill and have two adult sons, Troy and Mark, and two grandchildren.
