Mr. William "Bump" Roddey

Mr. William "Bump" Roddey a Democrat serving his first term as the District 4 representative. He is an Alumni of Northwestern High School where he was a record setting football player before enduring a career ending injury. Mr. Roddey went on to earn his B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics from Winthrop University. Prior to County Council, he served as 1^st Vice Chair of the York County Democratic Party. He is active in the community and currently works with AbitibiBowater as a Lab Technician. He is married to his Northwestern High School sweetheart, Jarilyn Sims-Roddey, and they enjoy two beautiful children, Kaniya and William III.
