Authority: Ordinance adopted by York County Council -February 7, 2000

Governing Body: Fifteen members appointed by County Council. One member of the board shall be appointed from each of the seven County Council Districts, and eig members of the Commission shall be appointed at-large.

Term of Office: Four-year terms

Function: To encourage, create, promote, coordinate, and market public and private sporting events, and other events, conventions, cultural, historical, and other attractions and related activities, and the travel and tourism industry

Meeting Schedule: The commission shall meet at regular intervals, but no less frequently than once each month. The commission may call special meetings at any time.
