Authority: Ordinance adopted by the York County Council on February 2, 1981
Governing Body: Nine members appointed by the York County Council. One member shall be appointed from each of the seven Council Districts and two members at-large.
Term of Office: 4-year staggered terms
Function: To prepare a comprehensive plan and program for the physical, social and economic growth of the County. To revise the plan periodically to insure the orderly development of the County. To prepare strategies and proposals for the implementation of the comprehensive plan. To conduct surveys and studies of existing conditions and probable future growth and development matters in York County.
