Governing Body: York County has two representatives on this Commission. A third appointment rotates between the counties. (York County’s third appointee rotated off in September 1992)

Function: The Lake Wylie Marine Commission was formed to preserve and protect property and wildlife and to promote public safety on sections of Lake within York County, SC and Mecklenburg and Gaston counties in NC.
