Authority: South Carolina Code of Laws 1984 12-35-710 through 12-35-730 Governing Body: Seven-member board appointed by the York County Council. A majority of the members shall be appointed from the hospitality industry in York County. A majority of the members shall be appointed from the area of the County from which a majority of the revenue is derived.One member of the committee shall represent the cultural organizations of the County. Term of Office: Two-year terms. Function: To make recommendations on the expenditure of revenues generated from the accommodations tax.
